Apocalyptica

Apocalyptica is a band from Helsinki, Finland consisting of three classically-trained cellists and a drummer.

Their specialty is heavy metal music on cellos, though they also play classical music.

They started in 1993 by playing covers of Metallica, but once the concept became popular they wrote their own original works, maintaining the thrash metal influences on their albums Inquisition Symphony (mainly covers as well) and Cult. Since Reflections, they have added drums to their recordings and live performances.

H.I.M (His Infernal Majesty)

HIM Band is a rock band from Finland formed in 1991, by Vocalist and songwriter Ville Hermani Vallo was the band's founding member, alongside Migé Amour (bass), Lily Lazer (guitar), Gas Lipstick (drums), and Zoltan Pluto (keyboards).
HIM band was originally called His Infernal Majesty, but later changed their name after being associated with Satanic Rituals, but in my opinion, this is not a satanic band ... I am more wise if you are interpreting their own :)..

HIM Band originally started as a cover band of artists such as Type O Negative, KISS, Danzig, Black Sabbath and Depeche Mode. but after a fairly well known, HIM band released their first album in the recording studio, with the title album Greatest Love Songs Vol. 666, on November 20, 1997 and attaining considerable praise within the Scandinavian market
Three years later, Razorblade Romance, HIM Band second album, hit record stores, again achieving substantial results and strengthening their indubitable recognition. With production credits featuring John Fryer, who previously worked with crews like White Zombie and Nine Inch Nails, the record substantiated the squad's better acclaim all across Europe. After gaining popularity in Europe, with the success of their second album, 1999's Razorblade Romance, HIM Band also became famous in England in the early 2000s.

Within Temptation

Within Temptation is a band from The Netherlands. Despite being labeled by the media as a gothic metal band, Within Temptation consider themselves “more a symphonic rock/metal band … we are in my opinion no Gothic band”.

The band consists of vocalist Sharon den Adel, guitarist Robert Westerholt, Jeroen Van Veen (bass), Stephen van Haestregt (drums), Martijn Spierenburg (keyboards) and Ruud Adrianus Jolie (guitars).

Within Temptation was formed in 1996 by Robert and Sharon, after Robert left his previous band, The Circle, who then renamed themselves Voyage. The Circle members Michiel Papenhove and Jeroen Van Veen also left to join Robert in his new project. Martijn Spierenburg also left The Circle, and joined Within Temptation in 2000.
In the same year, Within Temptation released their Enter demo, and were picked up by DSFA Records. The following year, they released their first full length album, also entitled Enter. This alum established them in the underground scene, and led them to play their fourth ever gig at the legendary Dynamo festival.
In 1998, they followed up with an EP, The Dance, and progressed to the main stage at Dynamo.
The band returned to university after The Dance, and in 2000 released their breakthrough album, Mother Earth.
